Mr. THAB Chanthorn

Head of Center of Business Language

Mr. THAB Chanthorn has been awarded Bachelor of Arts in English, with a four-year-scholarship, from the Western University (WU). Also, he has successfully completed Master of Education in Higher Education Management and Development at Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). Remarkably, he has done his research thesis in the field of educational leadership and management, specifically focusing on the emergent leadership of school principals from state schools. Moreover, he used to be an Assistant Dean of English, an Academic Librarian, a Translator, and a Lecturer for various universities and private institutes. He has had a wide range of experience in teaching English for over 7 years, within his favorite subjects such as Core English, Academic Reading & Writing, Ethics, and Employability Skills. In addition to his teaching experience, Chanthorn has philosophized the relevance of teaching theories into one sentence that "language is unconsciously constructed, not to memorize; therefore, problematizing the issues of subject matters for students is quite important in teaching and learning." He is currently a Head of Center of Business Language at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS.
