Mr. CHEA Theara
Lecturer
BBA, B.Ed, Post Grad Dip, MA

Mr. CHEA Theara is a teacher, teacher educator, and MA thesis supervisor in the areas of TESOL and Applied Linguistics. He graduated with a master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics from the SEAMEO Regional Language Centre, Singapore. He has extensive experience teaching English to different groups of students, both younger and adult learners. In addition, he has taught Business English and English for specific purposes for hotel and hospitality workers and for military personnel. He has developed a strong interest in autonomous learning styles. Theara contributed vignettes to Jack C. Richards' Key Issues in Language Teaching and has co-authored several articles, including one on critical thinking. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. SAMON Ratana
Lecturer
B.Ec., B.Ed., M.Ed.

Mr. SAMON Ratana holds a Master of Education from University of Canberra, Australia. He has a wide range of teaching experience both young and adult learners in the English as a Second Language Program. He has worked in education field for more than five years as a teacher of English, and has done some research with his peers with topic related to Cambodia education recently. Ratana is keen on teaching English Grammar, Writing Skills, Reading Skills, and English for Business, and Leadership in Education Context. Moreover, he has strong interests in educational leadership, and the role of education in economic growth. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. PEN Sambath
Lecturer
B.A (TEFL), M.A (TESOL)

Mr. PEN Sambath obtained a Master of Art in Teaching English to the Speaker of Other Languages (TESOL) from the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) in 2012. He has been teaching all levels of General English Program and English for Academic Purposes since 2004. He is really passionate in sharing his English knowledge and experience with students who are interested in learning English language. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. MEY Sithin
Lecturer
BSc, BEd, MSc, MEd

Mr. MEY Sithin is a teacher, teacher educator and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report reviewer. He graduated Master of Education from the University of Cambodia (UC), and Master of Science in Environmental Management and Development from the Australian National University (ANU), Australia. With over two decades of teaching experience, he has taught English and Environmental courses to BA and MA students in most universities in Phnom Penh. Mr. Sithin used to work with several universities and Institutes in Phnom Penh to design Entrance Tests and compile Course Books. He used to be a guest speaker for the Australia Awards Scholarship. He has strong interest in developing new skills and knowledge, especially in language teaching and technical work. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. KEO Chhorthong
Lecturer
B.A (TEFL), M.Ed.

Mr. KEO Chhorthong is a professional, qualified, committed academic officer who hopes to build on experience he has gained. He graduated with B.Ed. in Teaching English as Foreign Language and M.Ed. in Administration and Leadership from Cambodian Mekong University, Phnom Penh. Mr. Chhorthong has practical experiences what involved as university lecturer, Branch Manager, curriculum committee and English program counsellor for university and private schools in Phnom Penh. He has gained experience in teaching career for many years on English and soft skill with university level. Indeed, he seeks to understand the effect of educational technologies on teaching methodologies and student learning and on devising new and innovative methods to improve the student learning experience. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. LEANG Tola
Lecturer
BA, B.Ed., MBA

Mr. LEANG Tola obtained a Bachelor Degree of Education from Institute of Foreign Language, Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2001 and earned his Master of Business Administration later in 2005. His interest in ELT has encouraged him to pursue his teaching career and help others to improve English proficiency, methodology, and ESP especially in business related fields. His extensive involvement in ELT and Professional Development has inspired him to promote English as a Lingua Franca in Cambodia. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Ms. CHANG Muoyseam
Lecturer
BA, B.Ed

Ms. CHANG Muoyseam is a teacher of English with 8-year-experience. She graduated with Bachelor of Education from Institute of Foreign Languages in 2014. Besides, she earned another bachelor degree of law from Royal University of Law and Economics in 2011. Currently, she is doing her Master Degree of Education at Royal University of Phnom Penh since 2015. Ms. Muoyseam has a strong passion in teaching, for she has found that working with various students is her great time. Additionally, she has been teaching English to diversified group of pupils, such as kids, teenager, and adults, which she has gained considerable experiences to deal with all problems in her career as a teacher of English. She is currently a lecturer of English at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. KONG Matta
Lecturer
B.Ed, MA, and PhD Candidate in International Relations

Mr. KONG Matta graduated Master degree in English and now he is pursuing PhD in International Relations at The University of Cambodia. He also obtained a Bachelor Degree in English, majoring in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the Institute of Foreign Languages. Mr. Matta has been teaching English at some Universities in Cambodia over the last few years, and he has taught English for Business, Writing and Reading, and Literature. He likes teaching English because he wants to share his knowledge and experience the next generation in order to enhance academic learning and career capacity in the future. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. PATH Chansok

B.Ed, MA

Mr. PATH Chansok is a professor, lecturer, teacher of English, and MA thesis supervisor in the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). He is a Postgraduate with a Master of Arts in English from Norton University (NU) and a Graduate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Build Bright University (BBU), Cambodia. He has extensive experience teaching English to different groups of students, both younger and adult learners. In addition, he has taught English Language, English Language Teaching (ELT), and Business English for different universities and language schools in Cambodia. He has a strong interest in teaching/learning styles; he is self-motivated, optimistic, and conscientious. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Ms. Ung SreyPeuv
Lecturer
B.Ed, MA (TESOL)

Ms. Ung SreyPeuv is an English Teacher. She completed Master Degree, MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) from Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2011. She also graduated from Build Bright University (BBU), Bachelor Degree of Education (B.Ed) in English Literature in 2006. Ms. SreyPeuv has been a Teacher of English for 10 years. She is passionate in teaching English because she enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with people from different backgrounds. She is looking forward to teaching English language to people who are interested in improving the English language proficiency. She is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. PRAK Piseth
Lecturer
BA, MBA, MA

Mr. PRAK Piseth is a lecturer of English in the areas of TESOL, foreign language teaching, and translation. He earned his Master's degree in TESOL from the University of Canberra, Australia, and another Master's in Business Administration at Pannasastra University of Cambodia. He has considerable and relevant experience of teaching English to young learners and at higher educational level. In addition to English language teaching, Piseth has had extensive work experience of translation for many years. He has recently embarked on his teaching career for the benefit of and the contribution to human resources development in Cambodia. He has been adopting his teaching methodology to a more learner-centered approach, communicative language teaching, and task-based language teaching by integrating them with the conventional methodology typically used by most teachers. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. CHHIN Bota
Lecturer
B.A, B.Ed, M.Ed

Mr. CHHIN Bota is a teacher of English with 7-year-experience. He graduated with a Bachelor of Education from Institute of Foreign Languages in 2011. In addition, he had another bachelor degree from Vanda Institute of Accounting majoring in Accounting in 2019. Remarkably, he also earned his Master Degree of Higher Educational Development and Management from Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2019. Mr. Bota has a solid commitment to pursue his passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with various ages of students international school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and doing part time lecturer at AIB for one year. She uses different teaching strategies to be an effective and efficient teacher to her students.

 

Mr. THAB Chanthorn
Senior Lecturer
B.A in TEFL, M.Ed

Mr. THAB Chanthorn has been awarded Bachelor of Arts in English, with a four-year-scholarship, from the Western University (WU). Also, He has successfully completed Master of Education in Higher Education Management and Development at Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). Remarkably, he has done his research thesis in the field of educational leadership and management, specifically focusing on the emergent leadership of school principals from state schools. Moreover, he used to be an Assistant Dean of English, an Academic Librarian, a Translator, and a Lecturer for various universities and private institutes. He has had a wide range of experience in teaching for over 7 years, within his favorite subjects such as Core English, Academic Reading & Writing, Ethics, and Employability Skills. In addition to his teaching experience, he has philosophized the relevance of teaching theories into one sentence that "language is unconsciously constructed, not to memorize; therefore, problematizing the issues of subject matters for students is quite important in teaching and learning." He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. SENG Sothea
Lecturer
B.Ed (TEFL), M.Ed (TESL)

Mr. SENG Sothea achieved a B.Ed. (TEFL) through Institutes of Foreign Languages (IFL), Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in 2009. Also, he received his M.Ed. (TESL) from Burapha University, Thailand in 2013. He has a wide range of teaching experience adult learners in the ELT. His research interests lie in the area of motivation, learning strategies, literacy studies, and learning styles. He is currently a lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).

 

Mr. Derick DeGennaro
Lecturer

An expert in English language communication studies, Mr. Derick Degennaro served the people of Cambodia in Kompong Cham as a volunteer teacher in the U.S. Peace Corps from 2011 to 2013. Duties included teaching community health practices and to inspire Khmer teachers with new ways to teach their students. As an entrepreneur with more than 35 years teaching and business experience, since 2011, he has dedicated his life to becoming a valuable asset to Cambodia by bringing his expertise to local students of English. Continued focus on learning and participating in Khmer culture and language has given him a unique vision of teaching English to Khmer students. He has created a specific curriculum designed to help students perfect their English speaking and understanding. His methods offer students a new way to think about their studies, and inspire them to their best success. Now he is a part time lecturer at the ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS (AIB).
